We stand on the shoulders of giants.

The Online Encyclopedia of Canadian Christian Leaders exists to guide the ongoing development of Christian leadership in the marketplace and the local church across Canada.

Integrating Christian faith with Canadian historical development

  • Education
  • Politics/government
  • Humanitarian/healthcare/family

Entries will cover a variety of denominational/theological backgrounds and span from the 18th century to the present.

The OECCL was founded by Dr. Lloyd Mackey in partnership with the Tyndale Leadership Centre. It was created to serve faculty, students, researchers, journalists and those in ministry who want to better understand how Christian leadership has shaped Canada’s development over the last few centuries. The project is overseen by an editorial advisory committee and is committed to providing historically sound research.
